This past quarter, FD Admin released a new Sick Leave abuse policy that stated if you exceeded 5 unexcused sick leave absences in a year, your pay would be docked.
At the urging of our membership, we have sought a legal opinion of the issue. The Opinion comes from the Vaughan and Friedmann law firm and is included in an attachment below.
